Aquashade is the only EPA registered product for weed and algae prevention. It creates a natural bluish/turquoise pond water color that reflects sunlight, which reduces vegetation growth. Early application is critical as this product works by preventing growth, not killing it.
Dosage Rates: 1 gallon treats 4-acre feet (equivalent to 1-surface acre that averages 4-feet deep). Reapply when color begins to lighten. Usually 2 or 3 applications are necessary annually.
