Product Pick-Ups & Deliveries: We are open for product pick-ups & deliveries Monday through Friday throughout the year. See hours below.

Retail Store: In 2024 Keystone Hatcheries Retail Store will have the following store hours:

January thru March: Our regular winter hours are Monday thru Friday 9:00AM to 2:00PM, but please call ahead before making the trip as there will be times that we are unavailable.
April thru June: Monday thru Friday 9:00AM to 4:00PM and Saturdays 9AM to Noon.
July thru October: Monday thru Friday 9:00AM to 4:00PM.

November and December: Our regular winter hours are Monday thru Friday 9:00AM to 2:00PM, but please call ahead before making the trip as there will be times that we are unavailable.

Dates Closed: Please note that we are closed on the following normally scheduled days:

Memorial Day, May 27
Fourth of July, July 4 & 5
Labor Day, September 2
Thanksgiving week, November 23 thru December 1st
Christmas & New Years: Closed December 21 thru January 5

Gamefish & Minnows: Gamefish and minnows need to be pre-ordered, so please email or call 815-678-2537.

Aquatic Plants: As weather permits, we have Water Garden Plants available for purchase at our Retail Store. Generally, Hardy species become available in mid to late April and Tropicals in May. We maintain a sizable inventory in quarts, gallons and two gallons all the way until September.

Koi and Goldfish: Koi and Goldfish are available from sometime in April (depending on the weather), all the way into September. Check the Koi Page for a current listing of availability and prices.

Pond Supplies: Keystone Hatcheries maintains a large inventory of pond supplies at our retail store including aeration systems, weed and algae control products, pond kits, liners, water pumps, water feature building supplies, etc.

Directions: See this map, or find Richmond, IL on a map (it’s between Lake Geneva, WI and McHenry, IL). From the intersection of Rt. 12 and Rt.173, go west 1 1/2 miles on Rt. 173 to Keystone Road. Then go North on Keystone Rd. 1 mile and look for our sign on the left, across the road from the forest preserve parking lot. If you hit the WI border, you just missed us!
