Barley Straw, 1 lb. bale

For years pond owners in Europe have relied on barley straw for cleaning their water. Many of our customers swear by this product! Place in an area of high water flow and change every 3 months. We recommend putting a new bale in a few weeks before you take the old one out. Barley is contained in plastic netting to keep it together.

Dosage Rates: One pound bale will typically treat 100 square feet of surface area, or about 1,500 gallons.
